Nalani loves to pick dandelions and blow all the "twirlies" away. I thought these pictures were so cute of her!
As you can see, there is a whole field of them, close to the ball-park we were at.

Time in a Bottle
The other day the kids got a wild hare to make a time capsule. I'm not sure where they got it from, but they were in. to. it! They all had to find the perfect "thing" whether some weird toy, an award from school, a play-dough creation, a letter to themselves, or a dollar bill. They sealed them up in baggies and then put 'em in a container taped up good and buried it in our backyard. Their plan is to open it on New Year's Day and then make a new one every year. Should be interesting to see how items change throughout the years:) What was really funny is that ALL the kids came in to ask if I was going to blog about this. So, I just gave them the camera and let them go crazy.
Nalani's First Field Trip
Nalani just finished up her first year of preschool with a field trip to the Children's Museum. While there she enjoyed: playing waitress at a diner, playing in the waterworks, telling knock-knock jokes on the stage, and eating treats from her sack lunch. Thanks Nicole and Cameron, for letting us ride over with you guys! I had so much fun spending some one on one time with Nalani and watching her imagination run wild.
Pathetic!
I'm embarrassed at how far back this post goes! Clear back to Easter weekend...We went to the mEGGA Easter Egg Hunt put on by the community. It's always great fun! We made it early enough this year for the kids to get a chance for the free horse rides, coloring, face painting and finally the egg hunt. All four kids were in separate age groups, so we let Maika and Logan go on their own while Kelly took Bronson and I took Nalani. Nalani found a "Golden Ticket" and picked out the Ugliest Doll in the World as her prize:)
What do you do
when a simple "Time-out" doesn't work? Put them in a dog kennel!**
**Please note: No children were hurt during the creation of this blog! As you can see, they were doing it themselves:) Logan tried to fit, but found her long legs were just too long.
Logan's Birthday Party
Logan recently turned ELEVEN! She got to have a few friends sleep over. Everyone got to decorate a pair of flip-flops, they played on the trampoline, ate junk food, and watched "Hotel for Dogs". I think they actually fell asleep at around 2 am. Kelly and Bronson were off having fun at the Father/Son camp out. Is that perfect timing or what?
Slumber Party
This is how we found all our kids after coming home from a date. Don't they look comfortable? From L to R we have: Nalani, Maika, Logan, and Bronson all sprawled out and sleeping.
